Help Please my Box Is on the blink.

    Help Help , My Digital "the Box" seems to have shut down from yesterday,
    can only get the basic freeview channels, every time i try to get a channel it comes up with "updating information" goes to about 140% then starts over again, my emu is on.Is my dead or what. Be grateful for any advice.

    If its THE BOX and not a Starview, just reflash it with firmware, 4.50 or higher, this will fix it

    Thanks, I take it I need a cable to enable this.This is all very new to me, I will order a rs-232c cable, is this the correct cable ??

    you should have had the null modem cable in the receiver box , if not make sure you have a serial port at the back of you computer or laptop, before buying one
