Can you help me please , I have tried to burn the passion of the christ twice now and can not get the english subtitles to work dont know why ?? can you tell what I am doing wrong ...thank you in advance. Dean
Are you saying that there are no English subtitles at all? You see nothing on the screen other then the movie? What program are you using to backup your DVD?
No there are no subtitles at all ..and as you know the movie is in Aramaic and Latin and that is a bit hard to understand without the subtitles. And I am using shrink , the movie is the same in all respects as the oridgnal but no enlish subtitles , i should also say that I have ticked the box which says disable all subpicture except menus and forced streams , so that is where I am at can you help. Thank you Dean
Yes I did read that post but it was no help , all they said is to turn on the subtitles with the remote. Tried it anyway no good , is there any thing else that I can do ??. Dean
You've got to uncheck no subpicture in dvd shrink if you want any subtitles. The film is narrated in english anyway.
the whole movie is in latin. @dddean, Make sure English subtitles are checked. If it is, I think the problem is with your player and not how you backup.
I had 2 different narrators on mine,a man and a woman. I just compressed the entire disc, used shrink's deep analysis, and max smoothness enhancements. Turned out pretty good with a fully functionable menu.
Better late then never!!! When using AnyDVD and movie only with Nero Recode2 I also got the narration; "Moon going through clouds, etc." After I tossed that burn out, I used AnyDVD, (I really don't think I even needed it but it was loaded at the time,) along with DVD Shrink. Un-ticked under Audio #2. DTS 5.1-ch Latin and under Subpicture, #3 Spanish. I did leave the AC3 5.1-ch Latin along with AC3 2-ch English under Audio and #1. English and #2. English – Normal Captions under Subpicture. Custom compression on the Menus and Extras and did a Backup! Movie plays correctly this way without the Narration!
