I purchased a Starview 3 and it arrived today. I have plugged it in correctly and scanned for TW channels and found 350 I think it was. i recieve free to air channels and all the other channles are listed but 'scrambled or bad' his is obviously a problem! The firmware version is 7.08e and the boot is 8.00.
I have read many threads and lots of them are going on about this 'emu' thing and to accsess the menu you have to go to the main menu then press 1570, this does nothing!! Other threads mention a number 1668 this also doesnt work. At the minute a have a rs232 cable but i dont have a port on my pc for it! so until i can possibly change the firmware does anyone know anything else that will help me out???

    Thanks

you`ll need to flash the b0x, have a look in eamos under my sig.
Open the "B0x Super" folder & download the 8.00 for the uk.

All the flashing info, cables etc is in the second link under my sig.
    Best of luck.
