Hi, this morning I got this email from a person I built a computer for: Hi Mike, This morning my new computer would not work, I tried to start it any way I could think of, including in safe mode----no go. Windows loading screen comes up and keeps on running with out loading windows. Tried to start from the CD, that too did not work. Phone me please when you got a minute. Deiter PS: working with the old computer. The day before this happened I installed a new zalman CPU cooler. EDIT: not a heat problem, running at 30c
Get him (or yourself) to check all cables and reseat the Graphics card and RAM. It's possible he may have nudged something during installation of the cooler. One wonders why if he wanted a better cooler he didn't ask you to include one.
