I have this movie that is rare to get and I would like to merge both parts to make one movie . It was taken from digital tv Intensity_CD1_[TV-XviD-mp3] Intensity_CD2_[TV-XviD-mp3] I also want to format the movie to dvd so I can burn it as a dvd

I did what you said and it won't work on my stand alone dvd . I want to watch it on my big screen tv ..My dvd stand alone has all the right formats to watch it but it won't work
Hi TheHermit, The question is more, does it play on your PC ? The chances are excellent that even if you did everything correctly, by using crappy media, burning at too fast a rate OR burning to the outer edges of your disc where the dye may be uneven OR even absent, you wouldn't be able to play it on a standalone. So, if the answer is, "Yes,.it plays fine on my PC". Then you'll need to pay closer attention to what you're burning it too. You'll want to use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden discs, burning at no faster than at 4X (faster burnin may well cause writing errors) and controlling the DVD Target size to 4360MB so the files aren't burned to the outer edge of the disc. If the answer is, "No, I cannot play the VIDEO_TS folder on my PC." Then well have to go over our steps, one at a time to sea where our problem lies. We'll be waiting on your answer. Pete
Thanks alot man .. I have been getting costers here..I am using RiData dvd+r 16x on my liteon 1633s .It burned alright and I can play it on my pc but it won't play on my standalone
Well I just went to th pc store and picked up 4 blank verbatim 8x dvd+r. I will try them to see if that is the problem I will let you know scuba.
You obviously didn't read all of my post. I'll try too write slow so you can keep up . . . . Lol (he, he) Your standalone player is older and not programmed to see 8X, 12X, 16X OR 7,024X- So you go out and buy 8X and wonder why it doesn't work ? Am I missing something ? Go buy what you wish - I already told you it wouldn't work. I have no idea what you want BUT it doesn't appear to be help . . . . @TheHermit, My only suggestion is..."don't/never" burn at 16X or 8X, if your stand alone dvd player is 2 yrs or older. However, you can change the "booktype" setting into a DVD-ROM format if you use DVD Decrypter or Nero to do your back up process; this will make it easier on your [any older models] dvd player.
Hey Scuba . I posted this before I mailed you dude . I have listened to what you said . Don't try and make me out like a bad guy here . I pmed you and you don't like people pming you ...That is what this feature is for to send private messages . So don't have a letter in your pm not to pm you dude .Either disable the feature or suffer..One more thing when you tell someone to go buy something make sure you have the right info on there machine before you tell them to waste money . You didn't tell me it won't work cause you didn't even know the make of it till I told you after I bought the disks..But anyway that is you not me.. look in the post and see where you made your mistakes before you start claiming your some dvd god . You may know somethings but not all dude .
