Can you be more specific i.e. what kind of firewall? Hmmm.... can't you just disable your firewall and let it download first, then activate your fireware again?

Maybe if you turn OFF your CAPS, then it will starts to download automatically.

I've never experienced such issue whatsoever.

    ...what?
    hehe
Try getting spybot (freeware).. If not, hit up their forums on www.spybot.info. If spybot can't get it, they'll at least help diagnose and remove the virus...

also, XP has it's own firewall that you could turn off. You could try looking into that.

That would have to go down as the understatement of 2006.

A computer is not a toy, it's a powerful piece of electronics which you can do virtually any task with.

If you don't know even the basics of how to operate a computer I suggest you either ask a knowledgeable friend or at least go out and purchase a good beginners guide to computing.

If your firewall is blocking downloads you'll have to open and forward ports, and that is not recommended for a newbie who has little or no knowledge of computers.

If you think you've already got a virus get yourself a good anti virus program, a spyware detector/remover, a decent firewall, and a program such as PeerGuardian for P2P protection.

    Then try downloading :)
