Well if it has copy protection you'll need to rip it with dvdfab decrypter or dvd decrypter. What's the error you get with Nero? Nero can only do non copy protected unless you have anydvd running in the background.

Redundancy is usually attributed to filthy discs. Clean it as best as you can. If that still doesn't work, try Decryptor. People here swear by it for dirty/damaged discs. If not that, DVDFab will help too. If that doesn't work, VOB blanker might help. I'm not sure on that. If all that fails, you probably got screwed with a bad disc. Return it and get a different one.

He/she just needs DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. Nero isnt all you need.

Decrypt DVD files from disc to HDD with the help of DVD Decrypter, then open DVD Shrink and tell Shrink to open the decypted files from HDD. From inside DVD Shrink interface you can uncheck DVD files not needed (advanced users recommended) if you're not sure which files you dont need, just leave it alone and click "back up" and burn with Nero to you DVD R/RW drive.

    [bold]BACKING UP W/O NERO[/bold]
Click "Back up" in DVD Shrink
The "Backup DVD" dialog box opens. From there make sure that "Select backup target:" says "ISO Image File and burn with DVD Decrypter"
