hi there ive got a trojan called nebuler giving me trouble, i ran ad-aware SE, ewido and kaspersky online and still havent been able to get rid of it. It gets detected by symantec which takes partial action the file name is A0012146.exe when i select it to be cleaned i get a message saying it cannot perform action on the selected file possible causes: the file has been moved or deleted computer they are located on is turned off you are trying to clean files located in an email message you are trying to clean a compresses file in a container when i right click on the message and select properties the file is said to be located in this dir: C:\System Volume Information\_restore{EB6AC9A1-98AF-4B47-BD8F-13B235610BBD}\RP19\ below is my hijackthis log file please help in anyway possible, thank you very much
The trojan is located in System Volume Information file. Those files are the place where Windows store all files and information to restore Windows system earlier time. So you can delete files manually from there. Hi, Ill look HjT also but is not a specialist with those.
