Help Please

Can anybody please help with some clear eejit proof instructions?

In the Lilly White county, and have true cable provided by C****s, and I have a Starview 2 "The Box". I can only get 41 programmes.

Try doing a factory reset follow this :
Press 'Menu' then go down to Factory Setting and press 'OK'
Enter PIN 0000
Now press 'OK' to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute or two and turn it back on.

Select English > Installation
Choose your Provider (C****s)
Automatic Scan
Press OK
Channels found
Exit

Now press 'Menu' again and enter 1570
Look down the bottom of the list and turn EMU key ON.
Now just completely exit out of everything and you should find everything working for you.

For Chor*s you will have to input these freq manual and do a manual scan on each

Here are the latest frequencies for Ch**** True Cable: It is area dependent so not 100% these are for Dublin.

Codes using the same symbol rate of 6875.

 

Tried all thoose, got a few extra channels I think.

I'm in Kildare and not Dublin would that matter?

Go to your channel list and tell me how many TV stations you have

 

thay all seem to be listed, but not all work.

is there a button i can press to get an accurate list of my channels?

 

On any channel press Ok and you see alist of channels , you can move \/ or /\ to view these

 

I have about 75 channels I can actually see and hear, however all the other channels are listed, but won't appear when I scroll through them.

 

I am not too sure but I think you will only get about 75 channels in kildare with Chor*s , I will get Ferg to confirm this as he knows more about it than I do

If you live in the Kildare area you will only receive 75 channels 2 of which are the cc channels that is all they give down here ok

Ok, help required again, sorry.

I seem to have locked my box, as when I press the menu key, it asks for a code, and to the best of my knowledge I haven't ever entered a code!

i tried a 0000 factory reset, but no use.

The reason I'm trying to access the menu is so I can re-scan, as some of my channels, the pictyre appears 'small' or 'squeezed',

Has anyone else this problem? Or does anyone know how to fix this?
