help please.

    hi i am a absolute novice at these things im sorry.ive got genuine starview the box 2 which like everyone elses has gone down.first thing is has anyone found a way yet of fixing this problem???? if so ive got a r232 cable and im sure ive plugged it in correctly tried the gtrom v4.oo + the box t-v1 api.bin file.it just keeps saying.... flash update fail....also tried v4.03-051005 uploader same thing.have i got this cable installed correctly or what????im banging my head against a brick wall.please help:(

    interesting. ive just tried to upload channel thread and same thing has happened so i dont think its connected properly help please.............

    thanx for reply well its the one recommended by afterdawn from maplins its a rs232 serial connection lead fully wired 9 pin to 9 pin cable any more info i cant give you cause i dont know doh!!!!
