please help i have read thindgs about faulty lasers in the pstwos and such but i'm almost sure this is not the case with mine. my problem is that the little white stopper that you can see in the back left of the drive doesn't get pulled back so the disc hits the stopper and can't run. Ive allready tested a solution by holding the stopper back manually and everything works fine any ideas ?
I don't really understand what is happening for you. Do you mean the disc brake at the back right? When your ps2 is closed the white break still stays applied? Or you are trying to do a mod and the break is applied when open? If you give a little more info I'm sure we can help you out. Let us know.
