For the last 4 days i have been trying to put movies on my ipod video. I have had no luck and am about to throw my ipod in the trash seeing as the video aspect was the mane feature that attracted me to get it yet i cant get it to frikken work. I have tried programs such as DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter and DVDx. I have been using these guides http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/guides.html and http://www.engadget.com/2005/10/14/how-to-convert-a-dvd-for-your-ipod-with-video-in-windows/ When i make an image i use IFO. Is this why its not working? I tried ISO but i dont know jack about DVD ripping/converting. Whats the difference between IFO and ISO? Also when use IFO it makes VOB files. Am i supposed to convert to these to another format then convert them to MPEG-4?

After i ripped and made the image i use Videora and convert it to the Mpeg-4. When it gets to 100% it doesnt say complete and the time remaing becomes negative which is weird. Then im only able to abort or Exit the program. Finally i go the the videoras video folder to get the the converted movie but when i click it i get, "Error -2048:this files is not a movie?" I cant even put it into Itunes. Why is this? What am i doing wrong? Do i need some other program? Please i really need this figured out.
    Thank You

Because The freeware's obviously not working for you! The software you have to pay for is much better than the freeware. In the moment, I'll send you a PM that may help you out.
