Help! Red and blue vertical strips appearing!

    Converting some avi file to DVD, I get red and blue background vertical strips when viewing the burned DVD on my Pioneer DV-366-K.
    This effect happens with several converters such as avi2dvd, winavi, ConvertXtoDVD.
    The effect doesn´t show with media players on the PC.
    Help please!

    it could be your media? cheap disks = cheap results
    you could be burning them to fast? try x8 or x4
