Ok so, I've had some major issues with the new Alice in Wonderland. I am stumped, and have not had issues for some 1K movies now. I normally use RipItForMe and it is a gem :) But it will not open this movie for me. My back up option is DVDFAB and it will not open this disk, it will scan for hours and eventually give error while reading I will hit ignore all and it will never open. I've read here about DVDFab Passkey, and downloaded it. I have gotten it to open AIW but it does take a very long time, but then I didn't know what to do. I have DVD Decrypter open in file mode, but it didn't do anything. Maybe I am missing the point of DVDFAB Passkey. Someone please explain in "idiot" terms how I can get this movie backed up before my kid destroys our original and forces me to buy another :)

That's a head scratcher. Have you tried reinstalling anything. I was having isues with DVDFab and just ended up uninstalling, reinstalling and then restarting once. After that I've been ok.

I don't know, only cause I just did a different movie with DVDFAB and had no issues. I just retried and Passkey opened it (again after over 1 hr) then DVD Decrypter tried to do something with it only to error out "check condition" errors every 3 minutes. Condition is fine, its new and has only been watched once. But DVDFAB won't even open the dang movie regardless if it is in movie only or full movie. At this point I don't care about the extra stuff, my son loved this movie and I know from experience if I don't make an extra copy he will have it unplayable after a few days :)

I've used Magic DVD Copy and copied the disc successfully. You can get 5 free uses by going to the site, just google magic dvd copy. Good luck.

I had the same problems - downloaded and used DVD Fab HD Decrypter - worked first time.

    Thanks all for the guidance.

Not sure by what you mean by which file. I think it was the first one in the list of many that show up in the list of possible files to rip-if that's what you mean.

I got close with AnyDVD it Recognizes the movie but when u try to Rip it just gives Error. i tried Magic Dvd Copy too but also a Failure. Someone plz help i think its impossible to rip this movie. Make sure you have the latest version of AnyDVD which is 6.6.8.0
I had no trouble with this movie using Shrink, AnyDVD and Nero.

You dont need Nero Recode to burn this. If you have the latest AnyDVD you can use Shrink and burn succesfully with the old OEM version of Nero which is 7.5.13.0

You have checked to make sure the disc is clean and without scratches or fingerprints?
