If anyone is interested in a lossless rip, here is the method I used:

1.) Turn on ANYDVD HD in the background (would probably work with passkey).
2.) Use DVD Decrypter in file mode to copy all the files over to a folder on the HDD; if some don't copy, just ignore them.
3.) Use your favorite burning program to make an ISO (I used ultra ISO).
4.) Mount the ISO in a virtual drive, open DVD Decrypter, switch to IFO mode.
5.) Go to the setting for IFO mode, and turn off file splitting.
6.) Select the biggest title, and rip to a folder.
7.) Use VideoReDoPlus to clean & convert to MPG.

There you are, a single-file lossless rip that works with just about any app.

I am also having problems with the NEW alice in wonderland dvd, but i only need it for decryption. which would be better - anydvd or dvdmagic? umm, I have the newest version of dvdfab, like dvdfab 8. something or another.

    would love some input.

The newest versions of Fab and AnyDVD would be able to do Alice.
