I have a 167 MB wmv film & tried to edit only about 10 min from it using Nero incl. Nero start-finish. But while said it was done "successfully" it won't play with Nero, WMP, RealPlayer, QTime or Power DVD. Any help appreciated ...
Try cutting it with AVIDeMux. Select copy for audio and video and remember to add the extension when you go to save it.
I'm using Nero 8. Ultra suite. Do you have nero recode in your nero. If so just open recode and import the movies as normal.After that look under the import movie button for trim movie button and click on it and a window will open that allows you to select the starting point in the dvd and the ending point; choose both and select next and set recode to the parameters you want and then burn the selection. If you have Slysoft's Clone Dvd (free trial slysoft.com) you can do the same thing. This won't work with wmv file it must be changed to a DVD video_TS file and I believe Nero Vision will do it but not sure never had to do that. But once you get compliant file the above should work.
