Please someone help me.... Ok I'm at the part where you backup you HDD Drive thru evox but I cant seem to get the ftp to connect to my xbox. First I'm using a direct connetion and i have the right cord where every color has its on line. In the begining I hooked str8 from PC to XBOX but it said no link. SO then i tried to route my cable from the router to the xbox and using the phone line part of the router to conenct to my PC phone line socket. I then got and IP where it said No link and tried connecting but the FTP said it cant find the host. Please someone help.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/228294 If your making a direct connection you need a crossover cable. If your connecting through a router you can use a normal patch cable. If your using a router you can enable DHCP and it will automatically detect the IP and should connect if not, you need to imput the static IP address.
