Help! Starview the Box Channels Keep going

    Hi

    First of all this is my software:

    THE BOX
    API ver: 4.51e_E
    Boot ver: 7.0
    9 Jul 2007

    Now I keep getting my channels lost nearly every day now. I don't have virgin media, Zee TV, E4+1 etc any more. SO what happens is I'll watch the channels in the evening then when I wake up they are gone. I do an auto scan and I get them back (apart from the ones above) then I do an autoscan again.

    I know what to do. I normally just put the starview to factory settings, deleting all the channels and then loading the firmware etc up again. But, even with that my channels go. EG like within a week Zee tv, Zee Cinema etc will be gone. When they do go for example when Zee TV goes I normally delete the channel and do an auto scan which works but then again after a few days they dissappear again:( why?

    Does any one know? Please help

    Have you tried a booster?

    Since I don't know what a booster is lol (although i guess its some sort of signal booster) then no ... I have 10MB virgin media connection if that helps?

    Got extra cable wire from Maplins and a two way cable thing from them too.

    Thing is it used to work great. When I first got it I had no problems for like 6 months but now it seems I seem to loose my channels every single month. When I re-scan or do a factory reset I get them back but ALWAYS loose like Zee TV and Zee Cinema and now lately Virgin Media 1 and 2 which I love cos you get fresh prince on em lol

    Any Help? or do I just have to keep doing a factory reset every time? It just takes ages. ATM I use SVCE for channel sorting that I think I got from you scouser ... is there a better channel sorter out there for THE BOX?

    SVCE is the only one. Regards your problem try it without the splitter and see if your signal improves. If it does get a new one. Also check all your cable connections.
