Is it possible to stream part avi files? If so how? I can stream complete avi files eg. 700 mb etc using vlc player but it wont stream say an avi file that has an extension avi.005, avi.006 etc . I realise .rar files must be rejoined but I'm sure there is a way to watch any part of an avi file without downloading all parts..please some help would be great..
Nope... if you're seeing avi.001, avi.002, etc, you're looking at a file that has been split with a program called HJSPLIT and you'll need to use this to recombine back to the original file. This is similar to .rar files and the video cannot be watched without re-joining them.
