HELP!! Super box star view 3

Hey guys,

I'm a woman in need! Help me!!!

I got the super box star view 3 thingy and I can't get any channels. I have downloaded the correct sofware to my computer but when I press the download button it stays at 0% and then says flas failed. What am I doing wrong? It's driving me insane!!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Don't think I'm using vista, how would I know?

Lol... when you turn on your laptop or PC does it say Windows XP or Vista!!!!!!

actually had to turn it on and off there to check!!

 

Ok theres no reason why you cant download if your using XP if you click the starview link below my sig it brings you to a tutorial on how to flash your box!!,You need to down load the wnnrar and the gtrom also!! any probs come back !!!

Sorry just realised you have the box super... its an all in one firmware loader so you wont need the winnrar....

 

heya! tried it again and it's still staying at 0%...weird!

 

will you press menu then system info and tell me what it says also were abouts are you... I dont mean in the sitting room/ bedroom LOL

 

do you mean menu and system info on my laptop?? if ye, where is that? sorry i sound like sucha fool!! im in dublin...

 

Sorry about that ..just eating the dinner... no if you press menu on the box and on your tv it will say menu then highlight the system info!!!

mmm when i press menu on the box remote i get the channel list and when i press menu on the tv remote i get a list of stuff but nothing that syas systeminfo!!

agggghhhhh im i thick r sumthing?!! haha!!

ok so after ur brill help i finally got it workin!!

iv connected it to the tv, turned the box on and the box reads boot, then load, then dL. it seems to be stuck on this, cant do anything with it and my tv screen is blank...

any more ideas?!!

Des sorry but I have to head soon also I have seen a few Supers like this. Either stuck with DL or LD80 on the screen, where did you buy this?

Even hard boot reflash doesn't seem to work.

Why don't you break their heart and send it back for a replacement, as said I have seen this on a few boxes.
