When I play my AVI files in media player the audio synchs perfectly with the video all the way through the vid. When I burn the AVI file to be played in a dvd player with super dvd creator the audio starts out o.k. but after a few minutes it is no longer synched. Is this just a super dvd creator problem (because it plays fine in media player) or can this actually be fixed with VirtualDub or some other program? And if so how? Thanks
Some AVI files have Variable Bit Rate audio as opposed to Constant Bit Rate audio. Some applications have problems with VBR audio thus the desync. Either try another app (DVD Flick) or convert the VBR to CBR before using it in your program. Drag the original AVI onto GSpot and check the audio. This sample shows VBR audio. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/gspot.cfm http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd_flick.cfm
