Help...Think I F'ed my M28 drive up.....

    I just bought a New 360 Motherboard off EBAY. It had a Hitachi drive on it. Comes with the original working bin too. Now, can I take my Samsung Drive I have and put it on this New Hitachi Motherboard with no porblems? I think the drive is still good since I can still read and write to drive. I figure the Drive key got messed up somehow in the original reading of the default bin file. Withe a new board and working key, i figure i can swap it, spoof it, and it should work. Am i right?

    where did you download your original factory default firmware?
    I messed up mine and need the original firmware for an ms25.
    I cant find it anywhere!
    can anyone tell me or pm me or something.

    This pic shows your REAL ORIG.bin file as the file opened, but it says FIRMWARE SPOOFED as MS28. That right there means it's not ORIGINAL. If you PM me your email addy, I'll email you a REAL ORIG.bin for a MS28.

    Your original seems to be a hacked.

    not necessarily.. FW TB 3.0 shows original ms25 and ms28 firmware sometimes as spoofed as.

    check out the new FW TB 3.1B it'll show you if it's spoofed or not.

    Dude, you may wanna remove your email addy as its against the rules to post it.

    Do you still have the original key or have you messed that up to?
    if you have the key in the firmware you are using now then you can use anyones orig.bin (for ms25) and insert your key into it :)

    I have an ms25 orig.bin here if you need it to put your key into.

    ok i just checked my usb drive that i used to flash my firmware and i entered the Backup/*******/***** and in there were to files. ORIG.BIN and XTREMEFW.BIN i dont think this is right because i did not get to read my firmware or anything. Im confused now.

    Hi

    Im a complete noob at this, i have a brand new MS25 drive that i want to install into my Xbox (360) I extracted the drive key from the old one. How do i go about installing the new and giving it my original drives old key?

    Also when flashing it asks if i want to spoof my MS 25 to MS 25 should i say yes there?

    Im using ixtreme 1.2 downloaded from xbins.

    Please help guys
