I have been using dvd shrink and nero to back up about 15 of dvd movies and it has worked great. When I tried to back up 28 days later I had problem. When I pressed open disk it analysed only 52% of the disk and then stopped. The message said: Failed to read from file The reason is: Data error(cyclic redundancy check). This message has also occured once before when I was trying to use dvd shrink, but it happend during the back up process. I hope someone knows how to fix this or some way to get around it. dirty disc. clean it, try again, clean it try again. If you cant get shrink to read it, try dvd decrypter. if you search for cyclic redundancy, this is a common problem
