i unlocked my two razr v3 by downgrading the bootloader to 07.D0 then flexing it with an unbranded monster pack. then using motorola unlocker.... used rds lite 2.5 for flashing and downgrading.

that applies only on v3 with BL 08.26 and 08.23 .. but not to 08.29.. so before you do that.. make sure which is your BL.. and also.. remember to make a backup of your phone.. Cheers
How to check which version bootloader you have on your V3, Turn phone off, wait a minute, press #,* and on button at the same time, your screen will show you the version number. Be warned, once you downgrade to vesion 7.0, your screen will not display anything at all, this is normal, don't panic.
