Help unlocking my NOKIA 6230

Hi there, i have tried unlocking my phone but have been having a few problems.
Make/model phone: nokia 6230
IMEI #:356238009120870
Country the phone is locked in: UK
Provider the phone is locked to: Vodafone

1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

 

I have entered the code and it has not worked, can you help me. Please

 

What was the error mate?

 

It said phone restricted when i had enetered the code.

That code hasnt worked either, please help.

 

What network (sim) are you putting in when typing the code?
Have you atempted any codes before mine?
Is the mobile new or second hand?
Are you typing the entire code including the # + p w?

 

I am trying an o2 simcard, and i have tried 2 codes before using yours. The phone is second hand. I am including the # p w +.

 

The mobile was bought in the UK and only a Vodafone sim works, correct?

If the above is correct then the codes I gave are correct, my advice mate is to take the phone to a shop to have it ulocked directly with hardware or use the link provided http://unlocknokia.byyourcommand.net/viewtopic.php?t=4399
