You will need a non Orange SIM with no PIN code.

[bold]Please read ALL of the instructions below before you start.See: "Note:If nothing happens."

    below.[/bold]

Did you check with IMEI: *#06# , Firmware Version: *#0000# .

    Nokia:6230i
    IMEI:357097002078488
    Network:Orange
    Country:UK

    [bold] Is this correct? [/bold]

If you know the risks, try this [bold] ONCE and ONLY ONCE [/bold] and let us know if it works. You

have only 3 to 5 tries and then it will be hard locked. After that you will need a cable

thing-a-me-jiggy to unlock it. It will still work on your Network so no big loss.

    #pw+423537546107645+7#

Remove sim first, power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
    Press * 3 times fast for (p) \
Press * 4 times fast for (w) IMPORTANT
    Press * 2 times fast for (+) /
and the rest of the code---

    [bold] IMPORTANT!! [/bold]
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only heve about two seconds.

[bold]Note:If nothing happens. [/bold] Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim.

[bold] Before you do this, make sure the sim you use does NOT have a security PIN CODE. If it does,

reset the security code to default 12345 with the original phone. [/bold] Insert a non accepted SIM

and turn it on. You will see "phone restricted", select the UNDO option, then enter the code in the

    restriction box and press ENTER.

    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code. [bold] STOP [/bold] tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked. Used up all your free tries!!

[bold] DO let us know if this works. [/bold]
Help us provide a better service.

    Why did you enter 12345?

    Did you follow the instructions?
    Did you do this?

"Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim.
Before you do this, make sure the sim you use does NOT have a security PIN CODE. If it does, reset the security code to default 12345 with the original phone. Insert a non accepted SIM and turn it on. You will see "phone restricted", select the UNDO option, then enter the code in the restriction box and press ENTER."

Turn on the phone with the T-Mobile sim. Select UNDO. Enter the code.
    Press OK or Enter.

    That is the correct code.

    That's great news.
Glad it worked out and thanks for not messing around too much with the phone before you came to us.
