hi i just bought a ps2 off ebay and recieved it this morning. now it might not have been the cleverest thing to do!! i need some help! its got something missing in the back, a hole which looks like something has been removed??? the gaps got two holes on the side as though something should be screwed in. any ideas what that is or what it means? alsp the power cable is missing so i dont know is it works. help help help!!!!
is this where the hole is? could be missing the network adapter, only need it if you want to play games online.
yeah i found it in the box and have re-attached it. ok i got another question for u. how are u supposed to clean these things?? this ones been used a lot and shows. i need to clean it and i have no idea how!!
If you are talking about the outside then just use some paper towels and windex, spray the towel, not the PS2. If you are talking about cleaning the inside then get a can of that compressed air for cleaning computer keyboards and stuff. Then read the "guide for fixing your PS2" here. http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id4.html#guide to fixing your ps2 should give you all you need for cleaning the laser which is the only other thing that should need cleaning, give the fav a few good burst of air to clean it out too.
