I have always used DVD Shrink 3.2 to copy my dvds, but have encountered a problem with "Hitch". I encountered this error, a Failed to read the file "D:\" Data Error (cyclic redundancy check). So not knowing if it is a damaged disk or the protection, I used to DVD Decrypter to decode it. I did receive a successful message following the completion of the process. However, I do not know how to use DVD Decrypter from here to actually burn this to a DVD. Can someone offer "How-To", please. Thanks
rip the movie to your hard drive with dvd decrypter open dvd shrink and click open files find the folder dvd decrypter saved it to open the video_ts subfolder
DougStrou Hitch has the latest Sony ARccOs protection on it - shrink by itself can't do this movie alone as you found out. Here are some great guides for Shrink and Decrypter if you need further help: http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/ http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/tutorial007.html If you some reason you still have problems with this disc here's the offical Hitch thread: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/200764
But decrypter removes the protexion, right? That was why Sony was so pissed, they had developed a new protection, and Lightning cracked it in less than a week! Ahaha. Maybew someone can take up where he left off: Cos the DVD-Shrink+Decryptor combo is simply the best.
XweAponX Yes - Decrypter still does remove the Sony ARccOS but there are some problems with movie in regions other than 1 where a PSL file is needed.
