HELP! Wanting to buy a PSP. Not Sure which one to get!!! Pls Help!

Hi, I am looking at getting a psp later on this week. But what is this going on about all the v1.5 or v2.5? which one is better? and I am looking on getting a 2GB memory stick, can I download games and stuff to play on my new psp? or do I need to get like a old v1.5 ones? But I want the white ones. Please give me some advice!!! It would make my day!!! And if i get the new v2.5 white psp, does that means that I can't play downloaded games on it? or what? please help! THank you....

 

To do what you want youd need the 1.5 or any psp with firmware 2.0 or under, as at 2.0 you can downgrade to 1.5.
You can still get the white one, older white psps come with firmware 2.0 usually, the new release whites probably all have latest firmware.
If you get a 2.5 white then you cant play backed up psp games but you can playe homebrew like SNES and megadrive games.

 

...So make sure u get a fw1.5 cause the others stink....

No matter the firmware? www.pspblender.com But u need to pay like $37 bucks for the membership or something. How come they say can? No matter the firmware? please guide me in this. i'm very very confuse now. Thanks

 

That's a BS site and if you want ISOs just get them from Bittorrent sites. You can only use ISOs on version 1.5.
