Since last week I seem to have a lot of new best mates I have a EV box for a friend of a friend that generates nfo:- DVD-XC BOX 1.0 SSSN Jul 05 2006 2.0 Jul 05 2006 v002 Badged Euro-Vox on all silver case Can anyone advise me what ufl to use i.e. what flavour EV have I here? Any advice appreciated

I really dont know mate, give it a couple of week as they seem to start with the newer and work backwards. The previous firmware dated april 08 the eurovox blue firmware worked for these boxes but would render the remote usless and you had to buy a eurovox max remote for them but I dont know if the newer firmware works on these. Maybe a question for Sc0user.

HiTeck - what UFL will I look at for. Previous flavours I see are referred to as *blue* red* *black* etc. Or will a release be noted as EV2? I have the red, black & EX5000 so always know the relevant UFL. Cheers (Any boxes I have sorted so far have been one of these)
