good day afterdawners i recently bought a Samsung SyncMaster 245 BW and i order a HDMI to DVI to connect my 360 to it and enjoy my full HD experience in 1080 but all i can do is 720. wen i do set the settings to 1080 the picture shows with lines crossing the screen. wen connected to PC i hve it setup as 1920x1200. does anyone hve an idea y it isnt wrking?
getting HD on 360 is such a pain in the snatch.....now your problem lies with your computers video card! cards running DVI will only be capably of 720 what is your video card? more advanced (more modern) video cards will support video quality at 1080 through DVI, like the radeon HD series, but otherwise your setup is not capable of 1080 (some graphics card when first released were only capable of 720, then a driver update correct this fault, look below) nvidia drivers http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us AMD/radeon drivers http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html peace bro! -tripplite
umm..how would i chk that i know i had sent my 360 in for a replacement because it had sctratched my halo 3 disc when i had it standing up....i have it lay down...dnt want to risk losing another copy. and wen i said the monitor is plugged into my PC i have my 360 unplugged to do so...
