ok, i modded one of my controller ports to be used as a usb port, works fine, i reformatted my 2 gig hdd with fatx and that works fine, what i cant seem to figure out is how to get saves from my computer to my hdd, ive tried everything ive read on the internet, including all the fatx browsers, the action replay method (drivers wont install), everything ive read, and im gettin really frustrated because ive been working on this for the past two days and i didnt even think of these forums, so id extremely appreciate any help i can get with this, its really pissing me off! lol, thanks
Hi spent ages messing around trying to get my xbox to read files from my pc. as long as they are fatx and you dont reformat the stick on the pc the xbox should read it. i used a 128mb usb memory stick also smart media cards 16mb and 128mb can be read by the xbox, when i installed a saved game so i could install linux hope this helps.
no no, i got it to read on the box, i need my pc to read it to put the mech installer stuff on it and i dont know how to do that
