I know just question has prob been asked but...
I used to make backups last year with DVD Decyptror and DVD Shrink with no problems. now I've read the newsgroups here and tried ANY DVD , DVD Fab Decryptor, DVD Decryptor, and Clone DVD. Nothing really working. Was so much easier in the past. Anyway can some post or direct me for the easiest and most accurate way of backin up a DVD please? With the programs u use and the order in which u do it. I tried makin the folders and just seems so confusing. Thanks Guys this group rocks!!!!

the best way is 1 click dvd and dvd4free the only problam is finding a cracked copy of 1 click dvd i havnt i have only had 1 disk have a problam running these 2 softwares "when a stranger calls" but it conflicts with dvd for free so if u get this problan use anydvd instead and you can burn again 99 % of movies will copy with 1click dvd and dvd4free if u get a error on dvd4free use any dvd for that movie if you find a good cracked copy of 1 click dvd let me know i am still looking i have to keep loading the demo it only allowes 3 movie copies then shuts down i have tried about 28 codes phone reg codes none have worked yet if you find a copy and code let me know but try it with the demo and u will see how good it is my email is [noemailsallowed@afterdawn.com]

so far the best and easy way to back up a dvd is using clonedvd and anydvd. this does almost 100% of all movies out.

both can be tried for 21 days for free

    go here to download

AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD and CloneDVD mobile. You can also remove the RPC region code, thereby making the movie region free and viewable on any DVD player and with any DVD player software.

AnyDVD is capable of removing unwanted movie features, including subtitles and prohibition messages such as copyright and FBI warnings. It also allows you to launch an external application whenever you insert or remove a disc, or prevent 'PC-friendly' software from automatically launching when you insert a video DVD.

Decryption is not all that AnyDVD offers. You can control the drive speed of your DVD drive, allowing you to reduce the noise level when watching movies on your PC. You can even adjust the display frequency of your monitor for both NTSC and PAL displays.

But AnyDVD doesn't just stop at DVDs. It also decrypts protected audio CDs to allow you to copy them.

CloneDVD 2 copies movies to create unparalleled picture quality DVD backups, whether it’s the main title you’re copying or the complete DVD. CloneDVD will compress long footage at high speed to the highest of quality using specialised transcoding technology, allowing you to select your audio and language settings and also the final target size. Easy for even the novice user, CloneDVD’s intuitive Filmstrip assistant guides you through all the available configuration settings, allowing you to choose which chapters to include and offering the option to trim individual chapters.

A visual quality bar shows how your configuration choices affect the quality of the final copy. Note that copying protected DVDs also requires AnyDVD.
