    Hi there
I wonder if anyone can help..please
I'm not all that technically minded but somehow taught myself to copy a film on original dvd (because the otriginal disk was getting a bit damaged) to a blank dvd.
    Used AnyDVD,DVD Shrink and nero7
Anyway I decided to test out playing the film on the copied disk, and it seemed to play fine so I threw the original away, and deleted all the vts files from my harddrive to free up space on there.
Anyway when I went to watch the film properly about 3/4 into the film it started to freeze.
Could anyone please advise how I can copy the contents back onto the hardrive, as i have tried and it comes up with an error "crc" .
I pressume it is my disk that is faulty (they were only cheap from a supermarket) So I want the details back onto my hard drive so I can copy onto a new one.
    Thanks in advance

CRC is usually sign number one of a bad copy, and never, should you ever use cheap supermarket discs to make a copy. Also, you should never dispose of the original disc. If you're getting a CRC error, that's also why it's crashing. It's possible the original disc was too damaged to copy properly, but I highly doubt there's anything you're going to be able to do here.

    Thanks for the reply.
I even tried to copy it back to my HD with anyreader, that didn't work.
I have put it down to bad experience now.
I used a completely different process of ripping/ burning last night, I used Ripit4me , thumbs up it worked
    Thanks
