My friends gave me his dbox back to put a new image on the box and i cant do it.The lcd screen is broken in front of the box but i cant read some letters and it looks something like this:B RA S C and then some long German word underneath it.I dont know what this means but i cant get into the box.Nothing comes up on the tv like menus etc and when i use ifa it wont flash a image onto the boxes.It comes up with some message.Also when i use ifa it doesn't ping with the box.If someone understands this can you please help.It's doing my head in. Thanks
IFA is your onliest chance. Use the lates version from here: https://www.ssl-id.de/hallenberg.com/?content=downloads Btw you need a crossover network cable for a direct connection to the box.
I have tried this but it comes up with some sort of message.Something like command loop thing.I done it last week so am not 2 sure.
Network misconfigured. You should give the network card a fixed IP. If you are ready with flashing you can set it back to the previous settings.
