    Hey all,
Since there are senior users here, I am requesting your help once again.
I downloaded some movies, but they are in [bold]*.divx5[/bold] format.
I tried installing the latest versions of divx, playing them with multiple players, such as media player (modern and classic), Bsplayer, winamp (even though it's really not my favorite). They all failed to even give me the sound of it.
What do I need to run them?

    Thank you in advance,

    Phibius

Try VLC player that can play almost anything. Did you try the DivX player?

Also, try downloading GSpot, the codec info app, it can usually tell you if a flic you downloaded might be damaged, or might need a special codec to work. you can download it here : http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

Didn't think vlc was THAT good (I had it on my comp before, but I though Bsplayer was better)
