i have both clone dvd and anydvd fully updated, and i have a problem with burning dl discs....when it finaly is ready to burn i pop in the blank media (either memorex or fuji) and it says the source data is to large and that the writer is not capable of writing the source data as requested. I've updated the driver for my dual layer burner and still get this message....any help?
@souls Make sure your have clonedvd set to do dvd-9. The occasional x's I do dual layer I use dvd decrypter - rip in iso mode then burn the .mds file decrypter created in iso write mode. Here's a link for decrypter if needed: http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/ Also if your is capable of booktyping I would booktype these - players can be picky w/ media esp. dual layer.
there is no dvd-9 option, just dvd dl...which i assume is dual layer. The way around it that i've found so far is to just write the data to my hd and use neru to write it on the dl dvd. this works but since i actually bought this clone dvd program i was just wondering if it should do it correctly without nero...lol
@souls It should - once you pick the dvd+/- DL option that should do it. Do you have the latest version - 2.8.9.2?
@souls I know at one point and may still be the case clonedvd did not support burning to -r dl media. But if your using +r dl that shouldn't be the case. So I'm stumped on why it isn't working for you but Nero is. You can always email slysoft and see what they say.
@souls If you ever figure it out let us know - inquiring minds what to know (or whatever that saying is
