help with dreamweaver web site design

hi guys,

i need some help with dreamweaver. i'm creating a web site using photoshop and dreamweaver. my question is if i can add text "on top" of the graphic in dreamweaver an how. i tried to write the text in photoshop on top of the graphic but after compressing the quality is very bad. u think there is a way to write the text in dreamweaver on top of the graphic??
