ok here is the story, I was running Vista 64, and I installed Windows 7 Beta on a second partition and everything was running great the dual boot worked fine. However i decided to get rid of Vista and install XP, I was hopping to dual boot xp and windows 7 but now the dual boot screen is gone and the pc boots directly to xp i have no idea how to fix this so i can dual boot windows 7 and xp, The windows 7 is sitll there but i don't know how to boot in to it

    thanx in advance

Because you installed Vista first before Windows 7, windows 7 was depending on Vista to be there...and now that you got rid of it...you messed up your boot ordering..

Always ALWAYS install the lower version of Windows when dual-booting..

I.e. if you want to dual-boot XP/vista...install XP first then Vista...if you don't do it that way, you will have the same problem...where it only sees the latest OS installed. in your case XP..solution...You are going to have to completely reformat and reinstall XP first then Seven.
