Hi i got a Artec T1 DVB-T box for christmas. I updated the software with the latest version available straight away and i can watch the channels fine.

I have come to record a programme on a channel, it recorded fine and plays back on my computer but in all my media players the timestamp is wrong it says 31 mins and 6 secs when the programme recorded was closer to 1 hour and 30 mins.

when coming to encode the file for dvd authoring i always end up with the audio and video out of synch, i have tried many different programs and solutions and none have worked.

the dvbt's own transcoding software even leads to out of synch audio and video.

    Has anyone got any suggestions

Covert to DVD format with the inbuilt utility.

Use ProjectX to demux into audio and video streams - this checks for sync words & adds any necessary missing frames,

Then remux and burn to DVD using IfoEdit. Works perfectly.

I downloaded ProjectX and IfoEdit from Doom9.org
