Hi' if i have a DVD-ram drive does this mean i can rip and burn DVD's?? or at least watch a DVD?? because i've tried both and can't do neither. windows XP/windows media player 11 Thanks G1
yes absolutely, and every time i try to play a commercial cd the same thing happens, it tells me, windows has encountered a problem and has to close down, what should i do???
The computer is new, only 18 months old, i'm running on windows XP SP2 32bit, windows media player 11, what could be the problem???
Has this burner worked up until now? Unless it was a laptop, I would be installing it in another machine to see if the problem stayed with the hardware.
I'm assuming the burner is fine because i can burn cds and dvds, but only (dvds using dvd shrink in conjuntion with nero) but when it comes to WMP-11 it doesn't want to know, again it says windows has encountered a problem and has to shut down, what should i do???
Try using 'VLC' as the media player. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_players/vlc.cfm
