Help with dvico tv card and vista x64

Wow, its been a while since I posted.

Anyways, I'm starting to get really ticked at the tuner card business lol. I wanted a nice working digital tuner before beijing olympics starts but nothing seems to be going my way. In the past 5 days I have been through 3 different products, which have all failed in some way. First I had a compro U100 usb tuner - DOA. Then I got the T750F 'vista' card - DOA. Now I decided to get a Dvico dual digital 4 - which works - but the remote doesn't. I have read all kinds of forums where users are having trouble getting 'vista MCE compatible' remotes to work in x64, but the drivers and the remote program supplied installed without a hitch and the tv works fine in media center, but I just can't get the remote to do anything
Does anyone have any ideas?
I have tried switching PCI slots just in case there was any kind of clash but that didnt seem to help.
