I play the DVD on my DVD player: there is video but no audio I play the DVD on my computer: there is both audio and video I used Nero and here's what I did: 1 Nero Recode>Recode Main 2 On the Audio selection I only check the box with DTS 5.1 and left the PCM uncheck 3 So I burn and there goes my problem Help? And what is DTS5.1 and PCM?
psgame, I've also backed up this DVD. DTS is another form of surround sound, just like Dolby Digital. If your DVD player isn't DTS compatible, or you have a surround sound set up which doesn't read DTS audio then you will get no audio. If you do, just change the audio output on your surround sound setup with your remote. PCM is like a re-sampled form of audio which can be played back by computers and most dvds.
