Well, the problem is that my friend burned FEAR for me and I have it installed using demon tools, but the problem is that when I click the short cut , I think my security blocks it, how do I fool my computer in thinking it is just a normal game, If you aswer, look at this post again because I might need more help TY
Well... try dissabling your network card before running the game. I ran into a problem where, the game ran fine once and not at all on the following atempt to start the game. You could ofcourse try updating the game, the problem might be fixed by now.
Please read the forum rules. Especially the very last section regarding our rules on piracy. So be careful what you post Copy protection for games is much more difficult than that of movies. It could be your friend didn't make the backup properly.
Technicaly the networking thing is not a copyprotection issue, it is (was) a bug, that the developer aknowledged.
