Hi, I download films and put them onto my CD-RWs which my DVD player can only read. I then looked my dvd player up using www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers and it said that they play DVD-Rs aswell. I went into the shop and seen the disgracefull for DVD-Rs. Deos anyone know where I could find cheap DVD-Rs around Leicester? Someone please reply. James.
OK, a few questions. - I assume you already have a DVD burner, not just a CD burner, right? - How expensive are you finding the discs right now? - Where exactly are you? Remember this is a world wide forum. I know 3 different places called Leicester.
Hi, 1. I dont have a DVD Burner, I only have a CD RW. Would it be worth it for me to get one? 2. I am getting a pack of 5 DVD-Rs for £15. 3. By now you would probably guess that I am in Leicester > England. Please Reply. James.
You will need a DVD Burner to burn onto them 5 DVD-R's you are getting.. As to whether it's worth it , I happen to think so - it's never been so cheap to buy one Look here http://www.bigpockets.co.uk/ daily cos the special deals are good prices , such as Pioneer 105 DVD-RW for £99:99 inclusive of VAT (I think the place is actually in Bolton or Blackburn , something like that anyway) Place to get cheap media of all kinds in UK http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/ I am in S/E England so I can vouch for these I've given mate
Hi, Yes I have just realised that I need one. Do you think it is worth saving up for, as I have learnt from http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers that my DVD Player can play CD-RWs. What would you do? Buy CDRWs or save up for a DVD Writer. Please Reply. Jamesino.
I have a Pioneer 104 so pointless asking me if I'd save up : ) You can fit upto or over 3 hrs of movie footage on a DVD-R after compressing w/ software like DVD2One 1.2 or DVD Shrink 2.3
