I have a modchip in my xbox not sure what type though, the pink evox logo comes up in the top left corner everytime i boot up, i have a crossover cable and think im managing to link to my xbox as it does come up on flashftp that i am connected for a shot while, but then always disconnects. I always have my xbox on with the evo x dashboard cd in and the dash board on screen but i can never get flash ftp to bring up the files and drives on the xbox i just get the eggtimer logo then it disconnects without bringing anything up. How do I stay connected and view my xbox through flash. Am i doing everything right on the xbox to connect to flash do i just need the evox disc in because thats the only way I can seem to bring up the dashboard or do I need to flash the bios? or if the evo x logo comes up is that already done? Any help would be really appreciated thanks as ive been trying for days now
Thanks for your response punqewe, Could you tell me am I able to run the evox dash from the bootdisk that I have and is so how ? When I go into setup I choose to allow FTP connections but do I need evox fully installed on my xbox first because as i boot up normally I just get the standard xbox menus without the du disc in Thanks
