help with flash memory

    i got a pentax optio and i want to upgrade my compact flash memory from 64 to 128 mb. so i bought a flash card with 128mb and i threw it in my camera. when i turned it on i got a mssg that says "card not formatted". can someone help me out wit this?

    In the Tools... SETUP... of your camera -- there is a place where you can format that Memory Card !

    i did but it says "memory card error"

    First of all... how about being more explicit... Which Pentax OPTO do you have.. ? Look in the manual.. or go online to Pentax .. and download it to your desk --- It will tell you with pictorial what you are not doing right ! (( Smiles))
