Hey Folks, I am having trouble accessing my XBOX through FTP. I am using a crossover cable direct from my computer to XBOX which works fine. My FTP program CuteFTP is able to log on and I am able to browse through the files. The problem occurs during transfer however. I am able to transfer single files with no problem, however if I try to transfer a bunch of files all at once it simply loses the connection and I have to reboot my XBOX. What seems to be the problem? Thanks for everybody's time
Could be a number of things! Try a different client, also check available space on the drive. Which dashboard are you using for FTP? Maybe that's corrupt?
Sorry for the lack of details. I'm still getting accustomed to it since it was previously my friend's XBOX. Let's see... Xecuter 2 Avalaunch v0.49.1 Build 01 There's 6 gigs of space left on the HD which should be enough since I'm only transferring 2 gigs. I'll try a different FTP client and see what happens. How would I know if the dashboard is corrupt? Thanks for the quick response.
