Ok so I'm modding with a new xenium ice chip and I got a new hard drive. But the instructions tell me to use this Y-cable powersplitting method when the reason I got a modchip in the first place is because my first HD got f'd-up. What am I to do?
Hope you got your HDD password off the original HDD ? You will need it to create the new HDD. There shouldn't be any need for splitting the power cable to the HDD as you are replacing/upgrading..... Where'd you get the instructions ?
