My Spyzooka is showing up "Trojan Win32 AdwareRemover" I have had this problem only since yesterday. I think it is Spyzooka itself. There is no trace of Trojan Win32 AdwareRemover on my system. When I do a scan with Spyzooka it keeps coming up and when I tell spyzooka to delete it, all my startup processes turn off. They won't start back up. I done a system restore and got all my processes working again. I have ran other anti spyware programs and none of them have found anything. I think that Spyzooka is mistaking a genuine program for spyware. It think it is a false positive. I hope others on here will give their input as Spyzooka has done something like this before. If there was Trojan Win32 AdwareRemover I was told it would show up in add remove programs as it is meant to be a hackers tool, When I scan with Spybot or another antispyware program it will show I have nothing on my system. I think it is a false positive, but I am not sure. Below is my HiJack This log that I done yesterday, I would appreciate any help with the results of this log. I am a little worried that there might be a Trojan, but I am not sure. Sorry this is a bit long but I have included as info as I could. Here is the log. Your log is clean, no infections! You may have too many Anti-Spyware programs. Having more than one can cause conflicts or false positives. Update your Java to version 1.6. May want to stop some of your startup programs from loading, a bit too many. If you remove some of the Anti-Spyware programs would certainly help. The rest you can Google to find out which ones can be shut down in MSCONFIG, or deleted from registry. http://www.windowsstartup.com/ Clean out your browser cashe, history, temp files, etc? Run a registry cleaner? Run Disc Cleanup and Disc Defragmenter?
your hjt log looks ok, but theres plenty of malware that dosnt show up in a hjt log. all are capable of a false positive sometimes. if your other apps are coming up clean, i would say its a false positive. spyzooka was at one time on this list, but has been removed: http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm#spyzooka_note
Just for your information. I uninstalled AVG Antispyware and done a scan with Spyzooka and no more Trojan alert. It was a conflict. Thanks again.
